ALAY Designs (read as " alay" as in "Kary-alay or Vidy-alay") is an Architectural Design firm based out of Bangalore - with a dedicated & focused work culture in the field of Architecture, Urban Planning & Interior Design for 25+ years. Over these years it has had a sole underlying principle towards design & deliverance - an uncompromised degree of professional deliverance – the value imbibed by excellence right through the professional education days, to its inception & has remained so, over all the upheavals in the last 25+ years. R K JAGGI

Principal & founder, with an outstanding academic career, is an Architectural graduate from REC (now NIT) Calicut. He specializes in Urban Planning from School of Planning & architecture, New Delhi. With 25+ yrs of professional experience in the field of Architecture, Interiors & Urban Planning. He holds the group through brainstorming sessions. Chief motivator & a strict follower of time schedule has handled projects from mm to Hectares. With Immense depth & perception in detailing, space management, materials, co-ordination, Services, market, work management, he instills core values & focus, into Team Alay. He uses his computer & software knowledge combined with leadership & management skills to bring efficiency into the whole system.

MUMTAZ BEGUM

Co-founder, also with an outstanding academic career, is a Architectural graduate from UVCE, Bangalore. She is also a Housing Planner from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, which gives her the Diversified experience. Highly skilled in Space Planning has given her an unmatched experience in Housing projects in Bangalore. Mumtaz, highly adept in her spatial design, carries a great perception in building and services design & integration, local bye-laws & legislation, and immense skill in land utility. Expertise of high caliber has been instrumental in mentoring many young architects with zeal & enthusiasm, that has her held in a high repute among the architectural Fraternity. Her love for Architecture has evolved into a very simple & smooth design process that fits a varied exposure & versatile range.
